2018 was a Big Year for Packaging Express!
Updated: Jan 6, 2019
We had a fantastic 2018 here at Packaging Express! Not only did we celebrate 20 years in business, but we also achieved some major milestones. With an experienced team and manufacturing facilities in Denver and Colorado Springs, we were able to set new records in creating custom boxes. And we were excited to make so many new friends who need custom packaging for their organizations!
In April we were honored to host a special event for the Colorado Springs Chamber of
Commerce and EDC. Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers and other government and business officials from the community joined us to tour our office and box plant and learn more about the box business. Matt Davis, President and Owner of Packaging Express, gave a presentation on our business and how we plan to grow in Colorado Springs. And each attendee left with their own custom box!
And then in June we hosted a Manufacturing Bus Tour at our Aurora facility where over 50 other manufacturers stopped by to check out our operation and learn more about how corrugated boxes and packaging are made. We had the opportunity to show some of our box machines in action!
One of our biggest milestones was launching our new and improved website in October. With the launch of our new site, we will be able to reach new customers and really tell people who we are and what we do. We plan to add more to the website to show off our operations, education on box making, and so much more! You can now visit our website to see all of the products that we can manufacture, such as produce packaging, retail box packaging, beverage boxes, and custom boxes with logos.
During November we celebrated our 20th Anniversary! We hosted celebrations at both our Aurora plant and Colorado Springs corporate office and plant. We were honored to have family, friends and customers celebrate with us at each event, including the Denver Chamber of Commerce at our Aurora plant and the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC at our Colorado Springs location. At both events Matt was given the opportunity to thank everyone for their support and do a ribbon cutting ceremony with both Chambers. Not only did we have some fantastic food trucks to serve pizza, tacos and hot beverages, but we also gave tours of our facilities and answered questions about what it takes to run a successful box company.
We are excited to start a New Year at Packaging Express and can’t wait to see what new opportunities await us!
