Packaging Express is a proud partner of the Paper and Packaging Board’s Box to Nature Program. The program centers around a graphic which puts an instructional message front and center to showcase the important reminder to recycle. For example, it includes three easy steps: empty, flatten and recycle. We have joined this industry-wide recycling effort to encourage our customers to place the graphic on their boxes helping to educate consumers and get more fiber back.
This program is designed with a specific focus on promoting the recycling of paper packaging, particularly ecommerce shipping boxes. These constitute a significant portion of the packaging landscape. The visual presentation conveys a clear and emotionally resonant message, urging individuals to empty, flatten, and recycle their boxes. In testing, it was found that 75% of consumers expressed a greater willingness to recycle their ecommerce boxes after being exposed to the message and graphic on the box.
The graphics features a scannable QR code that allows consumers to access an informative consumer journey. For example, this QR code will direct them to the Box2Nature.org microsite maintained by the Paper and Packaging Board. On this platform, individuals can delve into the intricacies of paper and paper packaging recycling. Furthermore, it allows them to interact with content aimed at fostering regular recycling practices.
